Art + Literature

Life imitates art.

Sometimes words can’t articulate certain feelings; at those times, Art can invoke emotions and tell stories. I like to scavenge for artists that illustrate themes in styles that I like. It’s a way of self-expression that I respect highly. Their creativity and distinct styles would make me a big fan of their work.

Here are a few that I love:

  1. Nara by Yoshitomo Nara

  2. Studio Ghibli by Hayao Miyazaki

  3. Paintings by Chetsada Phuwiang

  4. Water Lilies & The Japanese Footbridge by Claude Monet

  5. Skulls by Offgod / @yalocaloffgod

  6. Bodies of Work by Lisa Yuskavage

  7. Any artworks by Hana Kwon / @partywithhana
